Theodoros Betsos
Theodoros Betsos is a Physiotherapist holding an MSc in Molecular and Applied Physiology from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), as well as an MSc in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound for Physiotherapists.
He is specialized in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT), Medical Training Therapy (MTT), Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging, Ultrasound-Guided Needling, and the assessment and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
Since 2007, he has been the Founder and Clinical Director of Physiokinesis in Patras, providing specialized assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal conditions and sports-related injuries.
He has extensive experience in professional sports, having worked with elite athletes and teams in Greece and abroad. He has served as the personal physiotherapist of Vassilis Spanoulis, Juancho Hernangómez, and Jerian Grant, while also collaborating with athletes such as Evan Fournier, Mathias Lessort, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikos Zisis, Axel Toupane, Dimitris Agravanis and more.
During the 2016–2017 season, he served as Head Physiotherapist of Apollon Patras Basketball Club.
Since the 2024–2025 season, he has been the Head Physiotherapist of AE Glafkos Esperos AOPA Patras Basketball Club, contributing to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the safe return of athletes to competition.
Alongside his clinical practice, he maintains an active scientific profile through participation in research projects and publications in international peer-reviewed journals in the fields of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
His clinical approach is based on the principles of Evidence-Based Practice, integrating scientific knowledge, clinical expertise, and modern assessment and rehabilitation technologies to provide the highest standard of care and facilitate each patient‘s and athlete’s optimal recovery and performance.
Theodoros Betsos served as the Head Physiotherapist of Apollon Patras Men’s Basketball Team during the 2016–2017 season.
Since the 2024–2025 season, Theodoros Betsos has been serving as the Head Physiotherapist of AE Glafkos Esperos AOPA Patras Men’s Basketball Team, contributing to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play management.

Pantelis Syriopoulos PT
Pantelis Syriopoulos is a Physiotherapist and graduate of the University of Patras. Since 2023, he has been a member of the Physiokinesis team, focusing on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in individualized care and therapeutic exercise.
Alongside his clinical practice, he completed the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy – Manual Therapy specialization program based on IFOMPT standards (2023–2026), further enhancing his knowledge and clinical skills in modern musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
He has attended a number of specialized educational programs and courses, including Blood Flow Restriction Training, “The Shoulder: Steps to Success” by Jo Gibson, “Management of Rotator Cuff and Hip Tendinopathies”, and the Conference of Clinical Biomechanics.
He is fluent in both Greek and English and holds a C2-level English language certification.

Giorgos Syros, PT
Giorgos Syros is a Physiotherapist and graduate of the University of Patras. Since joining the Physiokinesis team in 2023, he has focused on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, with a special interest in functional rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise.
As part of his continuous professional development, he has been attending the Hellenic OMT eDu specialization program since 2023, focusing on musculoskeletal physiotherapy and orthopaedic manual therapy, further developing his clinical expertise and skills.
In addition, he has participated in educational programs in First Aid and Kinetic Flossing, expanding his therapeutic knowledge and practical rehabilitation techniques.
His involvement in sports began at a very young age and continues today. He is an active Calisthenics athlete and currently holds a 4th-place national ranking in Greece. His athletic background provides valuable insight into sports performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

Theano Chinou, PT
Theano Chinou is a Physiotherapist and graduate of the University of Patras, with a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Physiokinesis team, contributing to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with professionalism and dedication.
Committed to continuous professional development, she is currently attending the Manual Therapy educational program of the Hellenic Society of Manual Physiotherapists, while also having completed training in Dry Needling through the Hellenic Physiotherapy Society of Pain Management.
She is fluent in Greek, English, Spanish, and Italian, enabling effective communication and high-quality care for patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
