Physiokinesis physiotherapy center is directed by Theodoros Betsos.

In our center, we use modern treatment methods which are scientifically-based rehabilitation methods.

We deal with pre and post-operative conditions, acute and chronic conditions of the joints and spine, sports injuries, neurological and cardiovascular conditions.

Our physiotherapy center is characterized by an unconventional concept of social medical care, as to what has already been happening in the particular field in Greece, and aims at the complete support and rehabilitation of patients.

In our new facilities, which are architecturally specialized and mechanically designed by professionals, we offer high-quality service and safety to all our visitors.

Our center is air-conditioned and fully ventilated, with appropriate lighting, dressing rooms, and women’s – men’s WC. We offer convenient access for disabled people, as well.

Our medical equipment is the most modern and suitable. It consists of classical physiotherapy equipment (Biofeedback, Laser, Diathermy, Tens, Magnetotherapies etc.), as well as modern physiotherapy equipment such as special beds for Manual Therapy, Tecar Therapy, Medical Training Therapy (MTT). We also have diagnostic equipment, such as equipment for digital foot analysis for the construction of orthotics, etc.

I am Theodoros Betsos. I was born and raised in Patras. I am a physiotherapist - Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (OMT). I graduated from the "Vasil Lefski" University in Sofia and the Technological Educational Institute in Thessaloniki. I graduated with a masters degree in "Molecular and applied physiology" at Athen’s Medical School of EKPA.

I obtained the title of an Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (OMT) by the Association of Manual Physiotherapists of Greece (A.M.P.G.) and the title is recognized by the international organization IFOMPT.

I obtained the title of a specialized acupuncturist of Chinese and biomedical (scientifically based) acupuncture for the management of musculoskeletal pain by the Hellenic Physiotherapy Society of Algology (EFEA).

I am a certified Medical Training Therapist MTT by the International Academy of Med. Education and a specialized analyst of body posture, walking and construction of orthotic insoles by the International Academy Foot Science.
I also specialize in Human Movement Analysis (Kinetic Control).
My professional experience started in 2003 at physiotherapy centers in Athens and Thessaloniki, next to brilliant physiotherapists, people with the same ideas and concerns as me, as to how we will take our profession one step ahead.
In 2007, I set up Physiokinesis in Rio, a physiotherapy center ,manual therapy, rehabilitation, alternative gymnastics, therapeutic exercise, and relaxation, in order to provide my knowledge and services to people who need it by improving their quality of life.
In Physiokinesis, with the assistance of my excellent partners, we apply modern methods of treatment using scientifically based rehabilitation techniques.
As I want follow the advancements in manual therapy, acupuncture, and therapeutic exercises, I continue to attend a lot of seminars on physiotherapy techniques, such as IMS, Kinesiotaping, Manual Therapy, Pnf, Muscle Energy Techniques, Medical Training Therapy, Trigger Points, Acupuncture, etc.

On March, 2017, I was trained by Chris Mercer on "Red flags and serious pathologies"

November 2018 - Present, Attending a set of seminars from certified and globally acknowledged British journal BJSM.

In my free time, I am interested in music, travelling, and sports (I’ve been a kite surfer since 2010) which for me are a source for inner perfection, kindness, peace, goodwill, and peace of mind.
