What is Tecar Therapy?
With CET and RET electrodes, WINBACK energy is transferred into the patient’s body, locally or globally, on the surface or in depth. Power transmission (TE) is created by combining the high-frequency current with its electrodes: Cet And Ret (CAR), ie TECAR.
SOFT TISSUE – CET
CET concentrates energy on muscles and all the other liquid tissues. The action is local, on the surface or in medium depth (DEEPCET)
Examples: muscles, fascia, epimysium, viscera, lymphatic system, vascular system, etc.
HARD TISSUE – RET
RET concentrates energy on hard tissues, such as joints, tendons, and bones. The action is polyarticular and deep.
Examples: ligament, joint, tendon, periosteum, bone, etc.
Massage provides all of its results in depth. The distance between the two electrodes is important and provides treatments in broad polyarticular areas, such as the lower limbs. Patients’ comfort is undeniable: they are placed on the massage bed, they are relaxed and that is leaving the therapist all the space to work in depth.
The therapist places a fixed electrode, CET or RET, on the patient, having full freedom of action with both hands free.
TECAR 2.0 is the “Swiss Knife” version of WINBACK, since it provides so many possibilities that it is impossible for us to describe them all.
WINBACK energy is emitted between therapist’s two hands. This application is particularly effective in treating joints that are considered complex, such as shoulder. This energy flow allows the therapists to deal with an injury at all levels. Thus, all the axes of the shoulder movement are restored within minutes with unprecedented comfort. The therapists will apply their know-how in all dimensions.
